kate has been making for as long as she can remember - first as a very young fashion designer to her barbie collection. more recently she has been working with anthropologie for the past 13 years & is currently employed there as a visual manager. kate spends her spare time painting, weaving, sewing and designing interior spaces. looking to friends, family and fellow-makers, she finds inspiration in the simplicity of design and puts her whole heart into every piece she produces. she hopes that the passion behind her pieces can inspire every wearer and owner that end up taking them home. kate studied fashion design and studio art at the university of rhode island & graduated in 2010. she now lives and works in somerville, ma.
